SUMMARY:The Organ Project: Organ Recital given by Mark Dancer
DESCRIPTION:Our 2021 monthly Organ Recital series continues with a VIRTUAL recital given by Mark Dancer FRCO. Mark is Director of Music and Organist of St Peter’s Church\, Petersfield\, Conductor of the Petersfield Choral Society and Musical Director of the Portsmouth Festival Choir. The programme will include music by Handel\, Praetorius\, Sweelinck\, Saiint-Saëns\, Franck and Guilmant. \nSit back\, relax and tune in to a virtual recital from St Mary’s Church\, Portsea\, performed on our temporary digital organ. \nOur J.W. Walker & Sons pipe organ is currently being restored by Nicholson & Co. Ltd\, and we hope to celebrate its re-dedication in late 2021.
