DESCRIPTION:A service to celebrate the “Light to lighten the Nations”.  At St Mary’s the quest preacher is Revd Sally Davenport\, Holy Trinity Fareham. \nSt Mary’s Sunday Mass  \nDid you know that the Christmas season officially ends this weekend? Whilst the trees have come down\, the decorations packed away and the food long since eaten\, the church’s celebration of Christ’s coming into the world actually ends this Sunday. \nPlease do join us at one of our services this Sunday morning where we will celebrate Candlemas. For hundreds of years Christians have celebrated Candlemas by the blessing and lighting of candles\, which then light our churches and homes throughout the year as a reminder of Christ’s coming to us as the light of the world. \nIt is a special service and we look forward to you joining us for the final part of the Christmas story\n
