A celebration of the occasion when Jesus appeared in all his glory to his disciples on a mountain top. The service will also be a service of thansgiving for Revd Sue’s ministry. There will only be a said services at St Mary’s at 8am and 10am that morning, and no service at St Faith’s or St Wilfrid’s. With the Choir of St Mary’s: Holy is the True Light – Harris.

A chance to enjoy a light lunch. The money raised will be used to support a charity. Lunch costs £2.30 and includes soup (with vegetarian option), a cold main, a pudding and free entry in a raffle.
There will be an act of Remembrance at all 3 churches. These will take place in the context of the Sunday Eucharist.

A concert of popular music given by Becki Short. She will sing songs from the shows, popular classics and lead a 40s sing-along. Tickets are £2.50 which includes refreshments. Money raised will go to help the work of AFIA (Away from it All) and the Parish Mothers Union.

The Christmas story is told by the children and young people as we celebrate the sharing of the greatest gift.
St Mary’s Parish Panto is “Robin Hood and the Singing Nun”. Come and enjoy a traditional panto and see members of the Parish enjoying themselves – including “spot the clergy” in disguise on stage. A morning of craft, activities and fun exploring how we reflect the love of God for us in the way we care for others. The morning will end with a free lunch. Bring your Mum or those that care for you!
