Following our 10am service, we are encouraging people to make their way to the churchyard for a picnic lunch! Join in with the wider Fratton community as we enjoy live music, dance and activities.
As part of the performances, 432 Nomads will be performing ‘Insane’ – a contemporary dance piece performed by the internationally acclaimed Šeiko Dance Company and 60 local community participants. If you would like to get involved, rehearsals will be taking place at 5-9pm at St Mary’s on Thursday & Friday, and 1pm in the churchyard on Saturday.
Finally, St Mary’s will be hosting the Inspiring Fratton Awards, recognising local community volunteers who support Fratton and the people in it. Awards will be given in the categories of: learning, volunteering, sport and exercise, the most effective team, and the best local business. Join us as we celebrate the people who help shape Fratton into a thriving community.
