Family Fun Days!
Come along to St Mary’s Churchyard for fun family activities, perfect for keeping young people engaged and active. These sessions will be taking place on 12, 19, 26 and 27 August, from 10-2 each day. Throughout the day, there will be 45-Minute Gel Blaster sessions (ages 8+ only). There will also be self-led fun zones for children to tackle at their own pace, featuring: LEGO building & car racing, craft tables, and sports stations (including cricket, lacrosse, football and frisbee).…
Charity Lunch in support of YENDA UK
Join our Fellowship group as they meet for lunch in support of YENDA UK, a development association supporting the Yengama community in Sierra Leone. Come along for a buffet-style lunch, the chance to sit down with friends in our local community and to enter our raffle! FREE Street Dance Workshops
Cancelled: Due to a lack of bookings, this event has been cancelled. For those interested, a similar workshop will be held in October On 6, 13, and 27 August, Templar Street Dance will be hosting a series of FREE dance workshops for 7-10 year-olds. As well as teaching your child the foundations of Hip Hop dance, this is an opportunity to build their confidence to express themselves. Outdoor Mass & Patronal Celebrations
Join us as we celebrate the Assumption of Mary, when God took Mary’s body and soul into heaven. At 10am we will be holding an outdoor mass (weather permitting) in our churchyard. After the service, we will be hosting a picnic lunch (bring your own food), accompanied by music from RBL Victory Brass Band and a range of fun activities for all ages. Climb the Church Tower!
We are opening up our historic church tower to the general public! As well as providing you with a new perspective of our Victorian church and its belfry, this is also an exciting opportunity to take in a unique view of Portsmouth from 167 feet in the air. FREE Puppet Show: The Elves & The Shoemaker
Young families are invited to St Faith’s to hear the story of a tired shoemaker and the magical help he receives. Bringing the characters to life with puppets, this show by Rachel Goodall will also give the audience the opportunity to meet the characters after the show.
