Choir Open Evening for Young People
An opportunity for interested young people to come and see what it is like to be in the Choir at St Mary’s, hear about what is involved and meet other young choristers.
Mass & Charity Lunch at St Mary’s
A chance to enjoy a light lunch. The money raised will be used to support a charity. The lunch usually consists of soup (with a vegetarian option), a bread and cheese main with a pudding to follow. The lunch costs £2.50 and includes free entry into a raffle.

Anglican Society for Animal Welfare Harvest Workshop at St Mary’s
Caring for the Marine Environment A special weekend focusing on the importance of caring for our Marine environment. A HALF DAY CONFERENCE ON SATURDAY 6TH OCTOBER WITH GUEST SPEAKERS: Tim Ferrero – Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust Robert Sluka – A Rocha International and Professor Meric Srokosz – National Oceanography Centre – Southampton With light refreshments and the opportunity for questions and answers.
Harvest Services at all Three Churches
A chance to thank God for the gifts of creation and to share those gifts with others and hosting the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals for Animal Welfare Sunday. St Mary’s Guest Preacher: Revd Dr Helen Hall. Service starts at 10am at St Mary’s. Service starts 9:30am at St Wilfrid’s and St Faith’s.

PONToon Digital Art Display at St Mary’s
PONToon is an innovative digital projects led by the University of Portsmouth and commissioned by Aspex to upskill women, aged 18-35, with digital skills. Aspex has commissioned artist Linda Mason to plan and deliver an 8 week Digital Arts project for women from migrant backgrounds. This exhibition is a celebration of the women’s achievements and the showcasing of their creative journey into using digital skills to express themselves. You are invited to ‘Rest, Reflect and Remember’ A chance to step back from the routine and rush of life and remember those we have known and loved who have given their lives in warfare, both in the armed forces and on the ’home front’. The Oaker’s Tale – Book Launch at St Mary’s
Join us on the afternoon of Saturday 24 November at 2.30pm for the book launch of ‘The Oakers’ Tale’ written by our very own Helen Evans.
